Jackson Lane Pty Ltd was engaged by Wood Group PSN to support their Melbourne based engineering design effort for the Platform Life Extension (PLEX) project on the PA-A offshore facility. The scope of work involved various concept design studies to select a preferred development option aimed at increasing the POB from 165 to 207 and extending the operational life of the existing accommodation areas.
The platform is located in sub-arctic waters offshore eastern Russia and presents a range of complex design and logistics problems in execution.
