Jackson Lane Pty Ltd
was appointed by Mustang Engineering of Houston Texas for architectural
design and materials procurement support for the accommodation module and
control building on the Pailin platform for Unocal Thailand. The
Pailin quarters module accommodates 126 men and is a modification of an
earlier design for a 166 man quarters for Unocal’s Jakrawan field.
In this case our design input was limited to review and approval of
documentation prepared by Mustang Engineering personnel. Our input
to procurement included the preparation of purchase specifications and
requisitions, MTOs, technical bid evaluation and vendor selection.
This work was performed in Mustang Engineering’s Houston office.
In the construction phase our personnel
were seconded to the McDermott Offshore fabrication yard in Batam
Indonesia to assist the site team with on going procurement and design
support.
