Jackson Lane Pty Ltd was engaged by Esso Australia Limited to prepare preliminary design layouts and details for an 84 man accommodation module for the West Tuna Platform. The task involved extensive consultation with offshore operations personnel and several visits to existing offshore platforms to fully define the project brief. The design involves a steel framed single heavy lift upper quarters module having three accommodation decks and a helideck. Various alternatives for layout and construction techniques were investigated at the design stage.
Jackson Lane Pty Ltd was later appointed as sub consultant to WGP group and Davy John Brown for the detailed design of the architectural fit-out of all enclosed areas in the lower quarters. This included the control room, electrical equipment rooms, recreation rooms and offices located on Mezzanine and Cellar decks of the topsides integrated deck.
