The "Northern Endeavour"
floating production facility to be located on the Laminaria field in the
Timor Sea will be the world's largest F.P.S.O. Jackson Lane was appointed
by Woodside to provide specialist advice as accommodation systems design
consultant to the project team. The project team is an alliance between
Woodside as operator, Kvaerner as engineering manager and SBM as mooring
systems specialist. Samsung Heavy Industries of Korea were responsible for
constructing the F.P.S.O. hull.
The accommodation has bed spaces for 80
persons and includes a central control room, DCS equipment rooms,
administration offices and full crew amenities. There are five
accommodation decks and a helideck is located above the top deck.
Jackson Lane Pty Ltd are responsible for
review of shipyard detailed design drawings and vendor data approval. We
are also responsible for procurement of fit-out stores and equipment
associated with the accommodation.
