Jackson Lane Pty Ltd was engaged by BHP
Petroleum to provide architectural, interior design and equipment
procurement services for a new-build vessel being constructed by Samsung
Heavy Industries in Korea. The task involved review and approval of the
ship builder's design drawings and the inspection of locally fabricated
outfitting items. Inspections of vendors equipment was carried out during
a visit to the shipyard in Korea.
In 1996 "Griffin Venture" was
subject to a major refit which involved the increase in crew numbers from
40 to 60 men. Jackson Lane Pty Ltd was engaged by Kvaerner Offshore in
Perth Western Australia to provide architectural design and equipment
procurement support for the accommodation upgrade project.
